DIRECTIONS TO PORTRUNNY

From the Athlone Bye-Pass take the N.61 (signposted Roscommon/Sligo).

At the Roundabout just outside Ganley’s Hardware follow the N.61 for approximately
ll miles. That will bring you through Lecarrow and at the ll mile mark, just before
entering Knockcroghery, you will see a sign for a Railway Crossing. Take the lst Right
Turn after that sign and before the Railway Crossing (signpost reads St. Dominick’s
GAA Park).

Take an immediate left after that (large sign reads Galley Bay Camping and Caravan
Site).

Approximately .7 of a mile along that road, you come to a Crossroads. The only sign
there indicates that Galley Bay is to the Right but you should continue straight on and 2
miles further along the road you will come to a T Junction at which you should take the
Right Turn for Portrunny Bay (it’s signposted). Follow that road for approximately ½ a
mile and you will arrive at the race area.
